Intermediate Easybridge!™

Bob Fritzsche is starting two fifteen week Easybridge!™ classes on April 2nd at 1:00 and April 4th at 7:00. Everyone attending the first two weeks will get a free Easybridge!™ Book and the first six weeks of the course are free. Participants will play actual bridge hands beginning at the first session. By week four they will be able to earn ACBL masterpoints. By the time the first lesson set is completed these folks will be playing as well as about 25 - 50% of all bridge players. After the first 15-week lesson set, Intermediate Lessons are given, and after that a lesson series on conventions and Duplicate Bridge.

Talk to your friends who don't play bridge. Convince them this is a fabulous opportunity. Tell them to call Bob Fritzsche at 256-820-1721 to reserve a place, or they can just come to the first lesson. Don't let your friends miss out.

Unit 157 News

Unit 157 has had a rather substantial increase in funds due to the Birmingham National Tournament and an increase in membership in the Unit. The Unit Executive Committee has had several strategic planning sessions to develop a plan on how to best use these funds to maximize, primarily within the Unit, the growth and development of contract bridge. These funds will be used to help local clubs like ours grow. Herb Stappenback and Don Kemp are participating in the planning sessions. We'll keep you informed of the results.
